Overview

The fifth edition of this text has been updated by the inclusion of Protocol No 12 to the European Convention on Human Rights and the two Optional Protocols to the Convention on the Rights of the Child, the 1999 UN Convention for the Suppression of the Financing of Terrorism and the Draft Articles on State Responsibility adopted by the International Law Commission in 2001. The selection of domestic statutes now includes sections from the 2001 International Criminal Court Act. The collection has also been expanded to include the 1994 WTO Agreement and the related Understanding on Dispute Settlement.

Malcolm Evans is a Professor of Public International Law, and Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law, at the University of Bristol.
