Happy-go-lucky Andrew Savoie thinks he s found his dream job when he's hired as a mortgage broker by Jerry Bisantz, the B in A&B Mortgage. When sexy, sophisticated Virginia Bard, the dissatisfied wife of a millionaire real estate mogul, takes him on as her lover, Andrew is convinced he's got it made. That's when disaster strikes in the form of the largest, most devastating hurricane ever to hit a major city in America. Thousands die while local and national politicians wait just long enough to respond to ensure maximum damage. As the city begins the slow process of recovery, Andrew finds himself embroiled in a real estate scandal that takes advantage of the most vulnerable residents. As people begin to die mysteriously long after the disaster, Andrew is forced to battle not only the devastation wrought by the storm, but the evil forces that invade the city in her aftermath.
