The sabana de Bogotá has been described by travelers as one of earth´s most beautiful landscapes. Braced by the cerros, Bogota's ridges of green, is a vibrant commercial Latin American city of seven million people.

These 200 photographs were taken from as close as 1500 feet above Bogota squares, parks and city buildings, reveal dazzling man-made and natural patterns. Seen from this vantage point, the city seems to show a new aspect. Bogota from the Air displays large and small patterns of beauty in its structures and geography that can not be fully appreciated from any other viewpoint.

Author Biography: Benjamin Villegas is the publisher of Villegas Editores.

Jeremy Horner is the photographer for two other books published by Villegas Editores: The Life of Colombia and Living Incas.

Cristobal von Rothkirch is a mountain climber and photographer. His previous books with Villegas Editores include: Alta Colombia and The History of Coffee in Gualemala.
