About the Author, David Bann

David Bann is a graduate of the London College of Printing (now Communication) and a Fellow of the Institute of Paper, Printing & Publishing. He has spent his career on the production side of book publishing. He was formerly Production Director at Penguin and Rainbird and has lectured extensively on book production. He recently retired as Production Consultant from Michael O’Mara Books but still handles production for several independent publishers. He is the author of The All New Print Production Handbook and Book Production Control.
