Este libro transmite toda la fascinación que causa esta leyenda y, al mismo tiempo, desvela lo que pudo ser la realidad histórica: a finales del siglo VI las invasiones sajonas en Bretaña fueron frenadas y repelidas durante un tiempo gracias a la alianza de los beligerantes reyes celtas. About the Author, Christopher Hibbert

Christopher Hibbert is a historian and biographer and one of the better known writers on classical history thanks to his fluid writing style and his meticulous documentation. Born in 1924 in Leicestershire (United Kingdom), he attended Radley College and later Oriel College at Oxford. He served in the military during WWII and was decorated with The Military Cross in 1945. He has written numerous successful books, including The Destruction of Lord Raglan (which received the Heinemann Award in literature in 1962), Benito Mussolini, The Roots of Evil, Venice: The Biography of a City, The Emperors of China I, and The Emperors of China III.
