Synopsis
This text describes the experiences of a number of people who have been involved in international exchanges in social work in various countries. Written by academics, practitioners, and students, 24 contributions address such topics as working with asylum seekers in the Netherlands, managing overseas placements for students, and cultivating global citizenship through international student exchanges. Many of the contributors participated in a project titled Child Abuse, Protection and Welfare funded by the European Union- Canada Exchange Programme in Higher Education.
