About the Author, Suzanne Stutman

Dr. Stutman is a Professor of English, American Studies and Women's Studies at Penn State University. She is the author of four books and over two dozen articles. A former president of the Thomas Wolfe Society, she is currently on the Board of Directors of the Thomas Wolfe Society and the Toni Morrison Society. She is currently at work on a book entitled "I Can Hear the Children Crying: Child Abuse in American Literature."
