School Library Journal

Gr 5-8-- One of the most popular subjects for books and stories, Cody had it all: he was an adventurous youth, a great hunter, an ``Indian'' fighter, an international showman. Works on Buffalo Bill move in and out of the library constantly, and this one is sure to follow suit. The content is standard for short biographies, but it is presented in well-set, readable type. What really makes a difference is the use of full color on period posters and drawings. Some excellently reproduced photographs are also used. --George Gleason, Department of English, Southwest Missouri State University, Springfield
