Devoted to developing a collection on aging, this helpful guide by a former gerontology librarian is divided into two sections. Part 1 contains advice on how to collect aging-related materials. Part 2 is an annotated core list of 400 items that include books, periodicals, newsletters, documents, films, videos, and directories arranged by subject. All aspects of aging are covered as are materials for all age levels. Topics include: aging in general, health issues, eldercare, retirement, adult education, insurance, long-term care insurance, sexuality, diseases, and more.
