Overview

Horne, Bartolomucci, and Newman-Carlson are trained counseling psychologists and the authors of a previous text, Bully Busters: A Teacher's Manual for Helping Bullies, Victims, and Bystanders (2000), for those who work with middle school students. In response to requests from staff at a number of elementary schools, they've adapted the information and activities from the first text into a manual designed specifically for grades K-5. The elementary-level text also includes new material on emotional intelligence and on aspects of the developmental assets program developed by the Search Institute. No subject index.
