Synopsis
This text/CD-ROM package addresses a variety of teaching and learning styles and modes of instruction, including online course delivery. Math terms and business vocabulary are introduced as needed. Explanatory notes are included in shaded boxes, and different colors of shading are used within the solutions to examples to help students follow the path of key values. Exercises require students to analyze and compare data to make business decisions, within the context of business and consumer applications. Learning features include objectives, group projects, spreadsheet exercises, practice tests, how-to instructions, and calculator tips. Cleaves teaches at Southwest Tennessee Community College. Hobbs teaches at the University of Mississippi.
