PRAISE and REVIEWS for Jess's Business Plan.01 (on building brand identity):
“EXCELLENT work on your final project - one of the best I’ve seen…you are an excellent writer and I’ve really enjoyed having you in class. Your final grade on the project is 400/400 = A.”
— Advertising professor’s comments, May 2010
“Had my first YA novel with an agent at Trident Media Group last fall. She sent it to Harper Collins, and Penguin. Positive feedback, but no one bought…when I contacted my agent a couple months ago, she said she’s no longer with the agency…I never heard back. Your brilliant paper is helping me jump over the mental hurdle that is traditional publishing.”
— email from a reader/writer, July 2010

EXCERPT:
I. INTRODUCTION
1.0 Overview
Part 1: This final report presents the initiatives the organization (Davis Learning Center, an education enrichment center) is attempting to implement. The three lenses (strategic design, political, and cultural) are used to analyze organizations and plan action. The goal is not only to analyze data, but also to show the importance of a positive mindset and perseverance. "Positive attitude is more than half the battle."
Part 2: This section presents a personal set of templates I have used over the years, to become a more efficient and productive author. I began to develop a positive mindset by designing some solid goals. These goals consisted of both long-term and short-term goals. Being more efficient and accomplishing my goals more quickly is a great motivational tool. I hope some of the material I have incorporated into this section will inspire and motivate other independent authors to achieve their goals too.
P.S. Names in 'Part 1' have been changed, for professional reasons.
