About the Author, Thomas Marent

Thomas Marent started photographing natural history subjects, particularly birds and butterflies, in the mountains of his native Switzerland, and has dedicated nearly half of his life to recording butterflies across five continents. He is the author of DK's Rainforest and Frog.
