Marc Dubin has lived part-time in Greece since 1989, and has travelled around the country almost annually since his initial 1978 visit. In 1993, he bought a derelict farmer's cottage at the edge of a village on Samos and spent the next four years restoring it. In 2000, having outgrown the original house, Marc was able to purchase the adjoining ruin and has recently completed the process of knocking the two together to make a single large dwelling.
