The book describes the important advanced technologies used to cultivate the genetically selected medical-grade cannabis cloned strains in glass houses. This book also discusses new advancements in drug delivery alternatives to traditional smoking, including the Advanced Delivery System (ADS)—a device that allows delivery of premeasured dosages while remaining secure, tamper-proof, and patient specific.

Synopsis
Cannabis was employed in human medicine for 4000-plus years, but it disappeared from conventional pharmacopoeia in the past century for political reasons. This text reviews the latest research from recent clinical trials on cannabis and cannabinoids, and addresses the "road back" for cannabis medicines and their reacceptance as prescription products. The text is co-published simultaneously as Journal of Cannabis Therapeutics, Volume 3, Numbers 3 and 4 2003. Russo teaches at the U. of Montana, in Missoula, and the U. of Washington, in Seattle.
