DR. HARRY SHIELDS is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary (Th.M) and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (D.Min.) and pastor of Calvary Bible Church in Neenah, Wisconsin. For the last fifteen years, he served on the faculty of the Moody Bible Institute, where he was the chairman of the Pastoral Studies Department. He and his wife have two adult sons who are also involved in local church ministries.

DR. GARY J. BREDFELDT (M.A., Denver Seminary; Ph.D., Trinity International University) is Professor of Leadership and Church Ministry at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He served for eleven years on the faculty of Moody Bible Institute, and has also taught at Ontario Bible College and Seminary, Indiana Wesleyan University and Lancaster Bible College Graduate School. Dr. Bredfeldt has authored two widely used textbooks entitled Creative Bible Teaching and Caring for Souls: Counseling under the Authority of Scripture. Dr. Bredfeldt has served as a Youth Pastor, Minister of Christian Education, Executive Pastor and Senior Pastor in Colorado, Wisconsin, and Illinois. He has been involved in three church planting efforts and is currently on the board of a new church plant in the western suburbs of Chicago.
