About the Author, Thompson, Brian , Allen, Michael

Brian Thompson is a Senior Lecturer in Law at Liverpool Law School, University of Liverpool. He is a member of the advisory body, The Administrative Justice and Tribunals Council. Michael Allen, formerly Professor of Law at Newcastle Law School, University of Newcastle, is now a member of the Criminal Cases Review Commission. He is the author of a number of leading legal books, including Textbook on Criminal Law, also published by OUP.
