Overview

This book contains 80 brief cases based on excerpts from annual reports of real companies. Case requirements are both procedural and conceptual in character. Procedural aspects typically involve working backwards from financial statements to analyses of transactions. Conceptual aspects involve reflecting on the rationale for an accounting treatment and/or the consequences of a change in that treatment. Ideally suited for the first level MBA course in financial accounting, undergraduate course in Financial Accounting and Intermediate Accounting.
