Overview

As GENERAL PRACTICE INSURANCE LAW moves into its Third Edition, of the original 700+ pages, only 350 remain, with the edition of over 400 pages of carefully weighed new material. Whatever the nature of individual improvements, the authors have kept the original format of the book (allowing teachers to preserve tired and true techniques), the same time wholly updating it. Hence, you will find the sections on coverage disputes expanded, and including a substantial discussion of pollution exclusions arising from environmental concerns and the seemingly unlimited exposure to liability; the section on the exclusion of intentional acts now contains cases dealing with sexual harassment and liability for various forms of discrimination; elsewhere, if perhaps in less dramatic fashion, changes in the legal landscape have paced the Third Edition.
