This new title features 60 trails located throughout the Catskill Park and includes how to get to each trail, summit elevations, difficulty ratings, hiking with children, numerous overlooks and viewpoints, photographs, and page maps that cover all 60 trails. Catskill Day Hikes authors Carol and David White have included fascinating historic insights, and information on popular public attractions and campgrounds.

The Whites, active members of ADK (Dave having served as chair of the Iroquois Chapter), are members of the Catskill 3500 Club (Dave is membership chairman of the club), the Forty Sixers (they're both winter 46ers), the 4000-Footer Club of the White Mountains, the New England 4000-Footers Club, and The 111ers of Northeastern USA. The Whites' efforts in the Catskills continue, with their work on both the newly revised reprint and forthcoming new edition of Guide to Catskill Trails, part of ADK's Forest Preserve Series.
