Synopsis
A look at children around the world as they celebrate 25 of their favorite holidays and traditions. In this large format book, kids will have an opportunity to see and read about a variety of religious and secular holidays all over the world. To give some structure, the holidays are organized by season. All of the children are incredibly appealing. For each spread there is a large picture of the child along with insets of photographs or illustrations and text that give more information and details about the particular celebration. To illustrate, in the Fall section, we meet a family and learn about the origins of Thanksgiving, types of foods, and how this family celebrates.
