Synopsis

Professor Danielle Dumont's quest is to determine the identity of the mysterious woman who helped the 18th century Marquis of Andelys, Alain Maximilien Grandmaison, and his son escape the terro of the French Revolution. She gets more than she bargained for, however, when an earthquake flings her backwards through time to the darkest days of the Terror and into the arms of the dashing but suspicious Alain!

First mistaking Danielle for a courtesan, when Alain learns that she isn't, he's certain she's a spy sent by his enemy, one of Robespierre's deadliest agents. Danielle must convince him that she's his greatest ally. Her quest leads her to uncover the identity of the mystery woman, face the greatest evil she's ever known, and discover the most miraculous love of a lifetime.

Rating: This time-travel romance contains mildly erotic love scenes and graphic violence in depicting the atrocities committed during the French Revolution.
