Overview

Christmas in Connecticut is a Colonial house with candles in the windows and evergreen swags 'round the door. It's a sleigh ride in snow, white churches, snowy town greens, and homes aglow with festive lights. It's the pageantry of The Nutcracker ballet, the magic of candlelight walks, and the excitement of seeing Santa on parade. Christmas in Connecticut is all this and more. Celebrate the spirit of Christmas with Positively Connecticut television journalist Diane Smith, who takes you on an unforgettable tour of the holiday season in this quintessentially New England state. Here's your chance to discover exuberant light displays, visit fantastical tree festivals, shop at artisan craft shows, and stroll through holiday open houses. You can enjoy medieval merriment and colorful theater productions, take a ride on a restored train, or sample Connecticut-made candy. Here, too, you can learn of the traditions of Christmas past and present and meet some of the remarkable people whose hearts overflow with the spirit of the season. Visit Connecticut with Diane Smith and experience a holiday you'll never forget. (8 3/4 x 11, 160 pages, color photos)
