This book is designed to be used as a self-teaching guide. It enables the reader to write a simple CICS Program as quickly as possible. The first chapter provides necessary background information about on-line systems. Chapter 2 shows the reader all the steps needed to write, compile and execute a program consisting of just two CICS Instructions.
