Children's Literature - Marilyn Courtot

This very simple text supported by full color illustrations explains a little about the origins of classical music that had its heyday from about 1750 to 1825. The explanations leave a lot to be desired and only two composers are featured as representative of classical music. Words that may be unfamiliar are written in bold with pronunciation help in parenthesis. These words are repeated in a mini glossary at the end of the book. A table of contents, index and further reading list are also part of this twenty-four page book. Part of the "Sounds of Music" series.
