Dr. James N. Butcher is Professor of Psychology in the Department of Psychology at the University of Minnesota and he is an internationally recognized and widely published authority on personality assessment. Dr. Butcher is currently the Editor of Psychological Assessment and serves as a consulting editor for numerous other journals in psychology and psychiatry. Personality assessment, abnormal psychology, cross-cultural personality factors, and computer-based personality assessment are the areas in which Dr. Butcher has maintained active research programs. He is the author of The MMPI-2 inPsychological Treatment (Oxford University Press) as well as many other books.
