Synopsis
Volume II is divided into two parts: Part I -- "Greek texts in Arabic" and Part II -- "Studies in the History of the Sciences in the Middle Ages," The first part of this volume deals mainly with Greek philosophical and scientific texts extant in Arabic translations. The Greek original of some of these texts is lost. Some studies dealing with the relations between some Greek philosophical conceptions and medieval doctrines are also included.The second part deals with various aspects of medieval science.Book Details
