Overview
This textbook is intended to expose you to many ideas and help you to develop a variety of skills you will find useful in your continuing study of mathematics. Perhaps the most important of these skills is the ability to approach a problem mathematically: read a question, understand what is being asked, and develop a coherent strategy as to how the problem is to be solve. (Doing these three things will not insure your success, but at least it will give you a fighting chance.) As you read the textbook, you will notice that a great deal of emphasis is given to the idea of 'really understanding' what a question is saying and what it is asking.Book Details
