Overview

This study enables the reader to understand the associations between different colors in a new way, closing the gap between theory and successful practice. Art students and artists alike will be familiar with the conventional theories of color mixing and may well have been disappointed when putting these theories into practice. Using a series of step-by-step exercises, this book explains why this dissonance occurs, providing a freesh look at the key terms and concepts artists require to appreciate their chosen craft.
