ABOUT THE AUTHOR:Shelly Reuben is a licensed private detective in New York and New Jersey specializing in fire and arson investigation. Reuben's first novel, Julian Solo, was nominated for an Edgar for Best First Novel by the Myster Writers of America. In 1994 her crime novel Origin & Cause was published by Scribner. In 1996 Spent Matches, another Scribner crime novel, came out, as well as the Harper Paperback of Origin & Cause. This is her first work of non-fiction.
