About the Author, Scott, Steve , Saylor, John

Steve Scott is a nationally recognized martial arts coach and the author of 9 martial arts how-to books including TAP OUT TEXTBOOK. He has coached 3 World Sambo Champions as well as over 300 U.S. national champions in judo, sambo, sport jujitsu and submission grappling.

John Saylor served as the Head Coach for the U.S. Olympic Training Center Judo Squad in Colorado Springs, Colorado from 1983 to 1991, where he coached over 400 U.S. national and international judo champions as well as numerous members of World, Pan American and Olympic judo teams.
