He is supported by 26 contributors most of whom have current or past educational connections with his institutions.
Audience:The book is written mainly for orthopedists and orthopedic residents caring for children and adolescents and for those preparing for examinations. The material also can be useful for primary care physicians, pediatricians, radiologists, and physical therapists.
Features:The two main areas covered are trauma and disorders of each anatomical area. Sports medicine, tumors, infections and skeletal dysplasias are discussed in separate chapters. Each of the book's 19 chapters consists of useful photos, tables, charts, and illustrations and the material is presented in a bullet format. The annotated references are current and adequate.
