About the Author, Alejandro Del Carmen

Alejandro del Carmen, Ph.D., University of Texas at Arlington Alex del Carmen earned a B.A. in criminal justice from Florida International University and an M.A. and Ph.D. from Florida State University's School of Criminology and Criminal Justice. In addition to being an assistant professor at University of Texas at Arlington, he serves as the director of the Center for Criminal Justice Research and Training.
