BONNIE N. FIELD is Assistant Professor of International Studies at Bentley College. Her research focuses on democratization, inter and intra-party politics, and political institutions, particularly in Spain and Latin America. Her publications include articles in Comparative Political Studies, Comparative Politics and Democratization.

KERSTIN HAMANN is Professor of Political Science at the University of Central Florida. Her publications focus on Spanish politics, comparative political economy (Western Europe), and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning. She is co-editor of Assessment in Political Science (with Michelle Deardorff and John Ishiyama).
