Overview

Pastors, church leaders, students, and laypeople who want to become purposeful strategists will benefit from this revised and updated, this second edition. It moves beyond theory to offer practical steps for establishing distinct vision and mission statements. Worksheets and end-of-chapter questions will help readers understand how vision relates to four key ministry concepts and how their church can implement this new understanding.

Malphurs believes many churches have no clear vision for ministry--some have the wrong goal and some have too many. With practical principles and helpful worksheets, Malphurs shows how to define an organization, give it direction, and build popular support.
