The telling of the story jumps from the locations of Rip's village to the Talbot home where another adventure is developing. Fans of the Wishbone television series will not be disappointed with the print version of this story. As one reads the account of Wishbone as Rip Van Winkle, you can almost hear the inflection and tone of voice from the television show. A recommended title for elementary classrooms developing a classroom library. With a little encouragement from media specialists, this series could become the new "favorite" among our younger readers.
