About the Author

Christopher Lukas is an acclaimed director of television movies, series, documentaries, commercials, and videos. His work as director, producer, and screenwriter has been broadcast on PBS, BBC, WNET, KQED, and earned him a number of Emmy Awards. He is the former Director of Programming at WNET and a former professor and chairman of the Department of Film and Video at City College of New York. He has served as consultant or advisor to New York State Council for the Arts, National Endowment for the Humanities, and National Endowment for the Arts. His work as an author includes Silent Grief: Living in the Wake of Suicide. He lives in Sparkhill, New York.
