Library Journal

Originally the tool for designing CD-ROMs, Director has morphed into the tool for web artists because it allows them to think in terms of the broad message they want to create. To take full advantage of Director, artists should learn the difficult, built-in programming language, Lingo. Although there are many excellent Director books out there, Gross's is probably the best for new users. Developed by Macromedia for company training sessions, it is easy to follow and recommended for any library with a population of web designers. Copyright 2000 Cahners Business Information.\
