This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the IFIP TC 10 Working Conference on Distributed and Parallel Embedded Systems, held at the 20th World Computer Congress in Milan, Italy on September 7-10, 2008.

The IFIP series publishes state-of-the-art results in the sciences and technologies of information and communication.
