Children's Literature

Dinosaurs always seem to be popular, and this book in the "Eyewitness Readers" series is an excellent nonfiction early reader. The text introduces a variety of dinosaurs all of whom are hungry. Thus the stage is set to introduce herbivores, omnivores, and meat-eaters and to provide interesting facts and comparisons. A complete recap of the dinosaurs with facts and a pronunciation guide is found on the last page. Note the British spelling "storey" which may confuse some young readers, but all in all, a good choice for the young and old dinosaur lover.
