Overview

Boys and girls love to doodle, and this entertaining book encourages kids to stretch their imaginations, pick up a pencil, and start doodling. Doodle Bug is a collection of half-finished line illustrations, each one having its own caption that suggests an idea for doodling. For example, one illustration shows a white T-shirt with a caption that reads: A T-Shirt I designed. All the young artist has to do is think of a design and draw it on the pictured T-shirt with pencil, ink, magic marker, or crayon. A friendly Doodle Bug appears somewhere in most illustrations to talk young artists through the book and inspire their doodling efforts. The book's hidden spiral binding keeps pages flat while kids are busy doodling.
