Overview
Easy-to-read information about healthy habits, natural remedies, and nutritional guidance along with biblical principles for supernatural healing, prayers, and Scripture make this a great reminder that God's desire is that His people be healthy. This is a helpful small volume for readers familiar with Dr. Cherry's work and a great introduction for those who are new to his ministry.
Healing is often a process: as we do what we can do in the natural, God will do what we cannot do in the supernatural. Steps toward walking in your Pathway to Healing:
- Find out all you can do in the natural.Set yourself in agreement with Godβs Word.
- Exercise your faith knowing that the blood of the Lamb healed you two thousand years ago as Jesus bore your infirmities in His own body.
Principles of Praying for Healing:
- Thoughts: We must get our thinking right to fight off disease. You must start by saturating your mind with love. Read 1 Corinthians 13:4β8 daily. Love casts out fear and enables your faith to work. Learn to think on the right things; read Philippians 4:8.
- Attitude: You must have a fighting attitude toward disease in your body. Matthew 11:12 says, β... the violent take it by force.β
- Talking Right: Convert your thoughts into words. Read Mark 11:23, Exodus 15:26, Isaiah 53:3β5, Matthew 8:17, and 1 Peter 2:24.
- Know Whom You Are Fighting Against: Ephesians 6:12 says we donβt wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers of darkness.
- 1. Guard your heart and vascular system.
- 2. Protect yourself against cancer.
- 3. Balance your immune system.
- 4. Take recommended supplements.
- 5. Eat properly.
- 6. Exercise regularly.
- 7. Deal with stress.
