Dramatizing Aesop's Fables: Grades K-8

This well-written book on dramatizing literature is directed at teachers of children grades preschool through six. The material presented has been tested in the classroom with wide range of students, including LEP, ESL, and gifted. Background and instruction for the teacher or group leader are found in the first four chapters.

Louise Thistle teaches Poetry Dramatization and Story Dramatization to students and directs the plays in her book in classrooms. She also teaches literature dramatization to teachers at the University of California San Diego Extensions and has taught at San Diego State University, Point Loma Nazarene University, Brigham Young University, at Walla Walla College and San Diego City Schools.
