Children's Literature

In amusing rhymes and illustrations, children will learn all about their ears. We can hear sounds like the drips of water from a shower or the loud snores from Dad when he is asleep. Sometimes the sounds may not be pleasant, like those heard when the young boy's sister is practicing her singing or slamming a door, but generally sounds bring the world to life and we enjoy the rhythm of a drumbeat, the claps of a hand and the tapping of feet. A delightful way to learn about one of our more important senses and the variety of sound heard in our world. Part of the "Bright and Early" board books series. Billed on the back cover as "Simple, Silly, Sturdy Books!" Reviewer: Marilyn Courtot
