Synopsis
1913. This work is the autobiography of Henry Cabot Lodge, the American politician and author. Lodge was the great-grandson of George Cabot, the American politician and businessman. Henry was a member of the United States House of Representatives and the United States Senate. He was a leader in the opposition to the Peace Treaty and the Covenant of the League of Nations in 1919. Lodge was a prolific writer, writing several biographies, including those of Hamilton, Webster and Washington.
