Easily accessible by public transport or car, and with several charming valleys in which to make a base (including the Romanche, Guisane, Vallouise, Valgaudemar and Vénéon valleys), this largest national park in France offers an unrivaled selection of hikes - each one revealing awesome views. A lifelong passion for the countryside and mountains drives Kev's desire to share his sense of delight in the natural world through his writing, guiding, photography and lecturing. Kev has enjoyed a fruitful partnership with Cicerone since the 1970s, producing walking and trekking guides to the Pyrenees, Alps and Himalaya. He is a member of the British Outdoor Writer's Guild.
