Joyce Tyldesley is Honorary Research Fellow at the School of Archaeology, Classics, and Oriental Studies at Liverpool University. She is a freelance writer and lecturer on Egyptian archaeology, has made regular radio broadcasts, and has acted as consultant on several television projects.
