About the Author, Eric J. Brock

Eric Brock, has spent years documenting, collecting, and writing about Shreveport, which, until the 1980s, was the second-largest city in Louisiana. As a lifelong resident of Shreveport, Louisiana, Brock has written numerous magazine and newspaper articles about his hometown. Due to his extensive knowledge of Shreveport and Louisiana, Brock also serves as a consulting social and architectural historian. Historic preservation is very important to Brock.
