About the Author, John Dewey

D. Micah Hester, an assistant professor of medical humanities at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, is the coauthor of On James and the author of Community as Healing: Pragmatist Ethics in Medical Encounters.

Robert B. Talisse, an assistant professor of philosophy at Vanderbilt University, is the coauthor of On James and the author of Democracy after Liberalism.
