About the Author, Sarah Banks

SARAH BANKS is Reader in Community and Youth Work at Durham University, UK. She is the author of Ethics and Values in Social Work (2001) and Ethics, Accountability and the Social Professions (2004).

ANN GALLAGHER is Senior Research Fellow in Nursing at Kingston University, UK. She is the co-author of Nursing and Human Rights and was formerly Assistant Director of Nursing at the Open University.
